PaperDolls Reunited

Back in high school, we had this group called “Paper Dolls”. Why paper dolls? Hmm.. I’m trying to think of it but I can’t seem to recall clearly why. All I can remember is that during those times, I am so desperate in learning the Barbie Almalbis song “Pretty Paperdolls” in guitar. Did that affect the name? I am not even sure.

In this picture is my longtime best friends Mars (we’ve been together since kinder) and Lea (super krazy!)I am also somewhere in this picture. (Who’s who? Well that is to keep the anonymity ) Originally we are four. The fourth member Vivien (whom I usually call Vibes) is nowhere to be found (sad sad sad )

I’m sorry if I didn’t turn out to be your perfect guy. I’m sorry if I disappointed you. I’m sorry if I frustrated you in many ways. This is me, a far cry from your ideal guy. But still… I’m wishing that someday, I’ll be every little thing you wanted..

I miss her

So much.

I miss the owner of this blog. Yes, I don’t own this place. This is the space of the most special girl in my life, Shayne. She is my future wife, my best friend, my critic and sometimes, my worst enemy. We’ve been away from each other since New Year and even if I spent my Valentine with her, I still miss her very badly.

I wonder what’s she’s doing now, maybe she’s busy watching WWE or reviewing for her board exam or probably playing with our naughty baby.  Meanwhile, I’m here, hacking my way here to her blog and posting this just to say I miss her.

This blog is an ambitious attempt to understand my boyfriend better. Let’s just say that I’m much more of a music person, who happens to fall in love with a web freak. I’m just tired of trying to pull my man’s legs away from the tech pool and so I told myself: “If you can beat him, join him!”

So I decided to get a week off my guitar and get my dainty little fingers strike the keyboard. But first, I wanna know, and probably understand…
